Day 1: IRKUTSK
Day 2: IRKUTSK – CIRCUMBAIKAL RAIL ROAD – PORT BAIKAL – LISTVIANKA
Breakfast. Meet with your guide and transfer to the railway station of Irkutsk to start a fascinating trip by tourist train on Circumbaikal Rail Road. Arrival at the railway station, boarding in the first class carriage and departure. During excursion you`ll have 3 stops to visit galleries, tunnels, to walk in the forest and at lake Baikal shore. Lunch or lunch box will be served to you in the train. The train always goes on Baikal shore and you`ll have a possibility to admire beautiful landscapes of the lake. In the evening arrival at the village Port Baikal. Departure by ferry to the village Listvianka (10 minutes). Accommodation at hotel Anastasya/Baikalskaye Terema
or homestay.
Day 3: LISTVIANKA
Breakfast. The day is dedicated for excursion in Listvianka village. Visit to the observation platform to see the famous Shaman Rock. Lunch at local restaurant at the shore of the lake, tasting dishes of famous lake Baikal fish «omul». Then excursion at the Baikal museum to see the flora and the fauna of lake Baikal. Visit by cable car to Mountain Chersky where a beautiful view opens at the south part of lake Baikal and the source of the Angara river. Walking tour at the village Krestovka with visit to the Saint Nicolas church. Return to the hotel or the homestay. Russian banya (supplement service).
Day 4: LISTVIANKA – IRKUTSK – ULAN-OUDE
Breakfast. Free time to walk in Listvianka, to visit souvenir and fish market or have a leisure at lake Baikal shore. In the afternoon departure to Irkutsk. On the road visit to the museum of wooden architecture `Taltsy`, located 23 km from Listvianka. Arrival in Irkutsk, free time with guide and driver to visit central market and shops. In the evening dinner at city restaurant and transfer to the train station.
21.50 Departure by train # 362 to Ulan-Ude. Overnight at the train.
Day 5: ULAN-UDE
During city tour you`ll see the historical center of Ulan-Ude: main place with Lenin monument, Ballet and Opera Theatre, Odigitrievsky Russian Orthodox Cathedral, Holy Trinity Church. Lunch at city restaurant to taste dishes of buryat cuisine. Excursion to the Ivolginsky Datsan located 25 km from Ulan-Ude. Return to your hotel. Rest.
Day 6: ULAN-UDE
Breakfast. Departure for excursion at the Old Beliver`s village located 30 km from Ulan Ude. You`ll know the life style of Simeiskye peoples who represent ethnic group. You`ll see houses with wooden decoration, rare icons, old furniture, listen to the choral signing, visit to a local family with lunch. Return to Ulan Ude. Rest.
Day 7: DEPARTURE
Breakfast. Transfer to railway station or airport of Ulan-Ude. Departure from Ulan-Ude.
