Cruise at lake Baikal is an unique trip which allows to discover in 10 days the most beautiful and mighty lake in the world from its different sides. You can see magnificent landscapes, try to fish and observe Baikal seals, bathe into hot springs and know interesting things about this majestic lake.

Itinerary: Irkutsk – Peschanaya bay – island Olkhon – Chivirkuisky bay – Sennaya
bay – Listvianka – Irkutsk

Day 1: IRKUTSK – LISTVIANKA village – PESCHANAYA bay
Arrival in Irkutsk, the old Siberian city. Meet with local guide and transfer to the village Listvianka, located 70 km from Irkutsk. Departure by boat to Peschanya bay. The road takes 5 hours. Lunch on a boat. Arrival at Peschanaya bay which is famous by beautiful landscapes, warm climate and stilted trees. Walking at the neighbouring bays: Akademicheskaya, Babushka, Sennaya. Russian banya (supplement payment). In the evening camp fire and dinner.
Day 2: PESCHANAYA bay – SAGAN – ZABA rock – SAKHURTE village
After breakfast our boat takes a course to the North. If the weather is good, stop at the sacred place of buryat people – Sagan Zaba, this place is famous by its rock paintings. Departure to Aya bay to observe caves. Lunch on a boat. Departure to the fisherman village located at the opposite side of Olkhon island and named Sakhurte (or MRS). Walking tour at lake Baikal shore or in the village. Dinner.
Day 3: OLKHON island – village KHUJIR – rock SHAMANKA
Breakfast. Departure to Olkhon Island. Excursion to the village Khujir with visit to the local museum of Regional studies. Village Khujir is the biggest village of the island located near the famous Shamanka rock. Lunch. Visit to the Shamanka rock which is sacred place of buryat people. You can swim and walk at Saraysky bay. Dinner on a boat.
Day 4: UCHKANIS islands – Saint Nose peninsula –CHIVERKUISKY bay
The boat takes the course towards Ushkany islands where it is possible to see lake Baikal seals. But it is possible to see them only in case if the weather is good. Lunch and departure to the Saint Nose peninsula, then to Chiverkuisky bay. Dinner on a boat.
Day 5: CHIVERKUISKY bay – ZMEINNAYA bay
Walking in the bays. Viisit to Zmeiinnaya bay to take hot thermal springs located 8 km from the village Kurbulikha. Average temperature in sources is from 28 °C to 54 °C. Lunch. Fishing at Chiverkuisky bay. Leasure and dinner on a boat.
Day 6: OLKHON island
The boat takes the return course to the Olkhon island. Lunch on a boat. In the evening arrival at the Olkhon island. Time to observe the northern point of the island – cape Khoboi. The cape Khoboi is located at the most wide space of lake Baikal and looks like a woman`s head. According to the legend this woman is a petrified buryat who asked the God to give her the same palace as her husband had. But the God decided to punish the woman by transforming her into a rock. Dinner on a boat.
Day 7: SENNAYA Bay
The boat passes along the eastern coast of the Olkhon island, the strait «Olkhonskye vorota» and arrives at Sennaya bay. Walking tour at the bay. Russian banya. Dinner.
Day 8: LISTVIANKA Village
Arrival at the village Listvianka. Accommodation at hotel Anastasya / Baikalskaye Terema
or homestay.
Leisure. Lunch at local restaurant. Excursion to the Baikal museum. Visit by cable car to the mountain Chersky where the beautiful view opens at the south part of lake Baikal and source of the Angara river. Walking tour at the village Krestovka with visit to the Saint Nicolas church.
Day 9: IRKUTSK
City tour of Irkutsk to see wooden houses, churches, Znamensky Monsatery, main streets of Irkutsk, theatres and many other historical sights. Visit to the museum of Decembirsts memorial complex (Volkonsky house).
Day 10: DEPARTURE
Breakfast. Transfer to railway station or airport of Irkutsk and departure.
